Title: Wrapt

My exhibit reflects the theme 'dance of life' with a couple dancing.  The attire worn by the dancers is simply a statement for this moment.  They dance within a silver background, suggesting the romantic notion of a silver lining.  Her partner in dance claims no gender. Their elevated emotions create a heightened reality of one and other.

During the dance Material Girl slows the rhythm.  As a willing participant within the dance she becomes aware of a subtle change.  Noting the hem of her wrap is disappearing into the other she hesitates.  Stance of shoulders, the fragility of neck and her downcast eyes confirm uncertainty. Her changed perception results in self-examination, evaluation and delivery. In this altered reality free will delivers choice, and it is this choice that will determine the outcome of the dance.
